How do I buy wine?
It's very simple. Here's what you do.
1. Choose your wine from one of our browsing options - ie search, looking at our full list, checking out our recommendations and special offers, mixed cases or wine of the month etc
2. Select a quantity and add to your basket.
3. When you have at least 6 bottles, proceed to the checkout. Note: you can mix your own case, bottle by bottle - ie your case could be made up of 6 or 12 different individual bottles of wine. There is a surcharge of 65 p per bottle for 6 bottle orders.
4.Once you've given your personal details you will be asked if you want your wine to be delivered to an address other than your billing address; click here and fill this form if, say, you want your wine delivered to your workplace or as a gift to a friend / relative.
5. At the checkout you will be prompted to fill in the delivery instruction section before clicking 'Calculate Price' and being transferred to our secure card processing server. This is a required field and you will not be able to proceed until you·ve done it. .
6. That's it! You will receive an email confirming your order and your case(s) will normally arrive within 5 working days.
How often do I need to buy wine?
This is entirely up to you. You can join the Grapevine Wine Club to receive a regular case every month, every other month or every quarter or you can buy any number of cases as and when you like.
Do you do events, parties, weddings etc?
Yes we do. And we can help you with wine and food matching advice (one of our favourite past times), samples, volume discounts and of course sale or return - not to mention superb value wines to break the tyranny of corkage..... Can I give wine as a gift?
Yes of course. We can send wine, Champagne and sparkling wine in 1 or 2 bottle special gift boxes with a personal message anywhere in the UK. Go to the Gifts and Accessories page
What happens if I don't like a wine?
Wines can develop faults. If you find that your wine is faulty or simply undrinkable (God forbid!) we will refund you in full.
What is the minimum order?

Delivery
We deliver anywhere in the UK, normally within 5 working days, and a delivery charge of £6.00 per case of 6 or 12 is automatically added at the end of your order. There is a surcharge for deliveries to Highlands and Islands, Isle of Wight and Isle of Man. Please ask us for details.
For orders of 36 bottles or more the delivery charge is halved.
Day-after-next deliveries are possible if the order is placed by 11 am. You will need to tell us that you'd like a day-after-next delivery in the required 'delivery instructions' section at the Checkout.
Payment
We accept payment by cheque or the following cards - Switch / Maestro, Visa Debit, Visa and Mastercard. If paying by cheque, we reserve the right to delay despatch of your wine until your cheque has cleared. We do not accept American Express, Diners Club, Solo or Electron.
Prices and availability
All wines are subject to availability and vintages may vary from those shown. You must be 18 or over to purchase wine in the UK. Prices include duty and VAT at 17.5%. We reserve the right to alter prices, without notice, in the event of major currency fluctuations or changes in the rate of duty, VAT or other taxes and market conditions.
Data protection
We will not pass on your details to any other third party organisation. Please let us know if you do not want to receive future mailings and emails from us.
